Cookie Policy
Cookies are tiny files we (and a few of our tools) drop on your device so the site can remember you between page loads. Here’s exactly what we set and why.
Short version: We only set strictly necessary cookies by default — the ones that keep you signed in and remember your theme. Analytics and marketing cookies are off until you opt in via the banner.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Some cookies live only for one session; others persist for days or months. We also use functionally similar technologies like browser local storage — for simplicity we call them all "cookies" in this policy.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
These cookies are required for the site to work. You can’t switch them off; without them you can’t log in or use the configurator.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Supabase | Keeps you signed in | 1 week, refreshed on use |
kfg-configurator (local storage) | Enclovo | Stores your current configurator draft + theme so a refresh doesn’t wipe it | Until you clear it |
enclovo-cookie-consent | Enclovo | Remembers your cookie choice so we don’t ask again | 12 months |
Analytics (off by default)
If you accept, we load Vercel Web Analytics so we can see which pages people visit and where they drop off. It is cookieless: no identifier is stored on your device, visits are counted from a hashed, short-lived request signature, and nothing follows you to other sites. We don’t use it for advertising and we don’t share it with third parties beyond Vercel, our hosting provider.
The script is not loaded at all until you opt in. If you opt out later, no further page views are recorded — the script itself stays until the next page load.
Marketing (off by default)
We don’t run marketing or retargeting cookies and we have no plans to. If that ever changes we’ll update this policy and ask for fresh consent first.
3. Changing your choices
Click the button below at any time to re-open the cookie banner. You can also clear cookies via your browser settings — that will sign you out and reset the configurator draft.
4. Browser controls
All major browsers let you block or delete cookies on a site-by-site basis. The exact steps depend on your browser:
5. Updates
We’ll keep this list current as we add or remove tools. The date at the top reflects the last change.
